Flowers. from her early, traditional paintings of chrysanthamums in the late 1940s, till the semi abstract, free slowing strokes used for her most exciting works almost to the week she died in 2011, flowers were an instant and ready inspiration, mostly grown by her husband Theo in the large gardens of her Brooklands home.
